We would like to welcome you to Wirral Registration Service. We offer ceremonies at both Wallasey Town Hall and Birkenhead Town Hall and a number of approved venues throughout the Borough. Thank you for considering booking your ceremony with us. We look forward to sharing with you and your friends and family the joy and happiness of your special day. This brochure has been designed to give you information on the services we offer and to help you organise and arrange your ceremony with us. We hope that the information we provide will answer all your queries. Wirral Register Office is situated within Birkenhead Town Hall in Hamilton Square, one of the finest Georgian squares in the country. Hamilton Square was the dream of William Laird the shipbuilder. He wanted to build the finest square for the town of Birkenhead and the site between Brandon Street and Mortimer Street was earmarked as the site for the Town Hall The building was designed by local architect Charles Ellison in 1882 and was opened to the public in 1886. Booking Your Ceremony in Wirral

BOOKING YOUR CEREMONY IN WIRRAL We currently accept provisional marriage and civil partnership booking up to 24 months in advance. To make a provisional booking simply phone the office, if an appointment is available we can provisionally book it for you there and then.
