Magical Christmas stays at Pennyhill Park

Pennyhill Park comes alive at Christmas. Our ivy-clad country house is filled with the warmth of crackling fireplaces and the sound of dazzling entertainment, and our sumptuous suites are given an extra festive touch (including a little gift for each of our guests straight from Saint Nicholas himself).

Incredible dining experiences await (you haven’t truly had a Brussels sprout until you’ve tried one of ours), our chefs pulling out all the stops to give you a feast for the ages. You’ll be treated to all the classics during your stay too, with plenty of opportunity for mulled wine, mince pies, and Champagne.

It wouldn’t be a stay at Pennyhill Park without tapping into your well-being, so our spa and activities will be fully up and

running. Who’s up for archery on the grounds or an afternoon in our multiaward-winning spa? And then there’s our winter favourite… our indoor-to-outdoor hydrotherapy pool which means you never have to brave the winter chill for a dip outdoors under starry skies.

Enjoy a delicious afternoon tea and get into the Christmas spirit with our carol singers in Balmoral.

6pm to 9pm

Join us for a Champagne and canapé drinks reception in Hillfield bar with soothing music from a Latin American pianist. Take a seat in Hillfield restaurant for a sumptuous five-course feast.

9pm

After dinner, take your pick between our film screening in Parkview, table tennis in Water Lily, karaoke in the Screening Room, or board games in The Drawing Room. Transport will be available for anyone who would like to attend midnight mass.* We’ll welcome you back into the warmth of Pennyhill Park with mulled wine and mince pies before you tiptoe off to bed.

Christmas Eve

You’ll arrive on Christmas Eve when festivities will be in full swing. Enjoy a cup of hot mulled wine and a fresh mince pie while you check in, followed by afternoon tea and the dulcet tones of our local carol singers. Settle into your room at your leisure (where your very own Christmas tree and stockings will be waiting) before joining us for a glass of fizz and a delicious dinner of your choice.

If you choose to head to midnight mass, we’ll help you get there – and welcome you back with a warming mulled wine and mince pie.

Christmas Day

The big day is here! Our elves have been busy prepping, sprucing, and perfecting to give you and your loved ones the Christmas experience of a lifetime, so all you need to do is sit back and enjoy. Our Christmas lunch is a feast for the ages and there are plenty of different activities to help make this Christmas your best one yet.

Whether it’s taking a wintry walk through our beautiful grounds, curling up in front of one of our fires with a good book and a hot toddy, or simply waiting for round two in the evening (a buffet and festive quiz), this will truly be a Christmas for the history books.

Indulge in a five-course lunch in Hillfield.

Afternoon

Spend your afternoon as you wish. Whether it’s cracking open the board games, watching the King’s Speech with a cup of hot chocolate, walking off lunch in our grounds, or enjoying music from a Latin American harpist in Hillfield Bar.

7pm to 9.30pm

Join us for a light buffet supper and Christmas quiz in Balmoral, then grab a bean bag and watch a festive movie, play a board game, or try a round

A buck’s fizz breakfast will be served in Hillfield restaurant.

Boxing Day

Blow away the cobwebs with a relaxing experience in our award-winning spa or head into the fresh air to test your skills with a round of archery.

We’ll be serving lunch at your leisure, live jazz will fill our halls, and we’ll be prepping Hillfield restaurant and Latymer for a delectable dinner of your choice.

Enjoy breakfast in Hillfield. If you are leaving us today, check-out is 11am, but you’re welcome to relax in the spa until 2pm.

12pm to 2pm

Hillfield bar and restaurant and Themis will be open for you to pop in for lunch at your leisure.

Afternoon

Let your competitive side come out during a round of archery. If that doesn’t take your fancy, release some muscle tension with a spa massage, relax on a lounger by the indoor ballroom pool, or head to our cinema room to see what films you can find.

5.30pm

Start the evening off right with a drinks reception in Hillfield bar, where our pianist will be performing. Choose between a five-course dinner in Hillfield restaurant or a tasting menu in Latymer (supplement applies).

9pm

Head back to Hillfield bar, where the Trio band will be playing until 11pm.

All payments are non-refundable and non-transferable. Reservations are confirmed on receipt of 50% deposit for each room booked. The remaining balance of the account, including any add-ons/supplements, is required by 27 November 2023. Bookings made after this date are subject to full payment at time of booking. All dietary requirements must be advised at the time of itinerary completion.
