the caspa collective is made up of an unquantifiable number of artists of all shapes and sizes working together and separately towards an as yet undefined common goal that can loosely be described as existing somewhere between the paramaters of universal peace and harmony and total world domination. We have a rabbit warren of studios inhabited by a colourful mix of artists representing a broad cross section of genres, from puppeteers to projection artists, plus everything in between. We even have our own gallery to show off the results of our prodigious work ethic. exhibiting artists include ben laycock, Jacinta Walsh, John a smith, Mark noulton, Melissa scott, danni ryles, Jim coad and Miranda Watts.

i take photographs by a process that i have called 'in-camera montage'. i set up a tabletop scene, placing two-dimensional background images, cut-outs of human figures (mounted on cardboard) and sometimes additional 3d objects in a diorama tableau which i then photographically document with a dslr. i create a scene in a diorama and then photograph it. My current work is exploring the notion of femininity.
