Essex Country Park.

The Essex Country Parks are proud to receive the Keep Britain Tidy Green Flag award again this year. The awards recognise and reward well managed parks throughout the country and show that the spaces meet the needs of the communities they serve.

Boasting a diverse range of beautiful landscapes and important wildlife habitats, the Essex Country Parks of Belhus Woods, Cudmore Grove, Danbury, Great Notley, Hadleigh, Thorndon and Weald all received the status.

This season why not enjoy the parks and revel in the glorious bursts of colour and spectacular scenery they offer in autumn, it’s one of the best times of year. So wrap up warm, take a walk on the wild side and use our spotter’s guide to see what you can find.
