CHRISTMAS SHOPPING & GIFT IDEAS

A unique way to explore the countryside Briery Hill is located in a stunning location in Kilcot near Newent, with views to the Malvern hills in the distance. The site consists of beautiful woodlands and a lake - home to many wild birds, waterfowl and fish. The farm is home to eight llamas, five rescue dogs, two cows, pigs and hens! This is a unique experience with friendly and experienced staff on hand. Llamas are extremely tranquil animals and are often used as therapy animals due to their calming qualities - when you groom and walk a llama, you tend to smile, feeling calm and relaxed. Days out as a couple, group or family make it a unique gift for Christmas, birthdays and any special occasion. Team building: Llamas are also used within large corporate companies as a team building/ bonding exercise. Bespoke Parties: Hen parties or groups can be catered for - this is a special event that people will treasure forever. Romantic breaks: Book a llama experience along with a stay in the luxury self catering cottage (the ideal way to say I do!) Not open to the general public as bookings are in advance. Full steam ahead to see Father Christmas Why not try one of the Dean Forest Railway’s Santa Specials this year! Father Christmas visits each family on the festive Steam train with his special presents for young and old. Your round trip on the ‘Santa Special’ takes around 90 minutes with your journey starting and ending at Norchard Station. Bring along your camera to snap the magical moment when each youngster meets Santa as he makes his way through the train meeting all the children and presenting them with an age related present.
