Taymouth was originally owned by Sir Duncan Campbell, “Black Duncan”, who replanted Drummond Hill in the late 17th century and so led the movement to plant trees across the estates of Perthshire. This could tie in with the Amber Afternoon Concert at The Crannog on Loch Tay with Gina Macleod & Alan Jordan which begins at 2.00pm. Why not treat yourself to lunch at The Courtyard Restaurant in between. Please note the path at the Pinetum can be muddy...so wear appropriate footwear.
