Tryst, Church Road, Pitlochry, PH16 5EB This year Pitlochry Church of Scotland is holding a Christmas Tree Festival which will be a brand new community venture for us in Pitlochry and the surrounding area, and will kick off the Christmas season in style. A Christmas Tree Festival is an invitation for local businesses, voluntary organisations, charities, schools, nurseries, families and individuals to provide an artificial Christmas Tree which they also decorate in a way which advertises or promotes their interests. The Trees will all be displayed inside Pitlochry Church of Scotland over a period of two days. There will also be craft and produce stalls, together with a range of refreshments in the Tryst Hall. Trees won’t just be traditional green pine, or even tree shaped, there will be original, imaginative and individual trees! There will be a Christmas Carol Concert on the evening of 1 December to celebrate the end of the Festival and reveal the winner of the Best Tree Competition and details of the monies raised for our Charity Partners; The Children’s Hospice Association, Scotland (CHAS) and the work of our former Minister Malcolm Ramsay and his wife Cati with United Mission Nepal.
