for the Cocoa Beach Explorer Cover

Back in December we received a letter from Roosevelt Elementary teacher Maria Tomacari with an idea that we might want to ask for submissions for cover photographs. Over the years, we have came across photos on social media that we fell in love with and reached out to the photographers for the occasional cover; however, we loved Maria’s idea to allow submissions from local photographers, so we can showcase their talents on the cover of the Cocoa Beach Explorer.

The perfect cover photo will need to be a vertical orientation and high resolution (300 dpi at 8.5” x 11”). Yes, even photos taken with your phone will work! Our cover from last August was taken with one of our phones while out picking sunflowers.

If we chose your photo for a future cover, we would provide photo credit and information on the Table of Contents page of that month’s magazine.
