Houses the permanent St Andrews A - Z exhibition telling the story of the historic city of St Andrews from early mediaeval times, through the centuries and the Victorian era to the present day. In a beautiful Victorian mansion within the grounds of Kinburn Park. There are a lively series of temporary exhibitions and changing displays in the Kinburn Gallery on various topics, there is also a regular programme of talks, concerts and children’s workshops. What’s On St Andrews & East Fife Daily Diary Events Sunday 1 June 2014 Chariots on the silver sands of St Andrews West Sands, St Andrews.

Now in its fourth year, Sunday 1st June 2014 sees the return of Chariots on the silver sands of St Andrews. The race is a simple out and back 5km. Runners do not have to be barefoot but are welcome to run through the waves should they wish (it may affect the time though!). Kids 1 mile (under 11s) race is scheduled to start at 11am, hoping to get the main 5km off promptly at 11.30am. Prizegiving 12.15pm We are very well-supported by the local businesses, you will be some of the best rewarded 5km runners known to man - the past three years every adult finishing has received a free beer, alongside sticks of rock and medals etc. Entry is £12 (£10 if you are a registered member of Scottish Athletics) and after card fees etc, all proceeds will go to AICR, our charity partner. 1 mile fun dash for under 11s, £2 entry on the day and an ice cream at the end.
