I started photography 17 years ago. Your work is very special – could you please describe your way of taking photos? My artistic work takes place in the following way, before beginning a new series, I always ask myself the same question: do I have something to say? Then I ask myself how I’m going to stage those emotions, which set will allow me to create relevant and forceful scenes, in relation with the theme defined for this series. Then I start the search for the characters… the final thing is the shooting itself!
InFocus with Pierre LeBlanc
Please, tell us a bit about the project ‘le banc‘ - ‘the bench‘ I would describe it like this: „It couldn’t go on like this. Things were turning for the worse. A long process of destruction had begun. It became uncontrollable, and spread like lightning… and what should have happened, a flash and then nothing.

Still there can be said a lot about the artist: For Rey Scue black and white is enough colour. He looks closely on moments, situation and people, while others turn away. He aims to jolt people that watch his pictures, as he shows the drawback of the pictural world in the glossy magazines. Rey Scue’s
Rey Scue is a self-taught artist. His masters are famous photographers from all over the world as well as undetected talents. His field for experimentation is daily life – and quite often he pays attention to the men and woman that stand on the fringes of society. His photos permit deep insights and are always an invitation to start thinking and talking about life, highs and lows, social wrongs. Rey Scue‘s ambition is that people take the time to pause even in these fast-paced days. He himself

born thanks to my father: he is totally incapable of taking pictures, so it was up to me to do so. I started getting really interested in photography five years ago, I attended a basic course and then I continued by myself, trying to find my own point of view. In this pursuit, street photography has been a huge way to grow: it’s the kind of photography that allows you to live and recount everyday life through people’s faces and through places, with curiosity irony and, sometimes, poetry. I participated in several group exhibitions in Italy and abroad and I got some awardsand I got some awards (For example, I had the honor of being among the winners of CBRE Urban Photographer of the Year 2015). I simply just find a location go there and shoot my vision. Im not going to bullshit any one with my long winded explanations of my vision as i think each shot from each location has to be shot with the vision at the time, no method no silly vision minded explanations, simply shoot there and then.
So in the small time i have been involved in my hobby i try to get out as much as possible but somtimes its difficult to escape my real life of work and family.
