Q

Q

How did you get into street photography?

A

I entered the street photograph without knowing it and without knowing what it was, what rules and regulations had to be followed. I had to look for some information, see a lot of street photography, both classic and modern photographers (currently, however, I barely see other photos). My training has consisted of seeing many photos and practicing a lot, I have not read photography books.

Your street photographs are mainly in B&W. What do you think makes you chose B&W over color in street photography?

A

In my opinion black and white photography seems more artistic and timeless than colour photography.

A & Q Q

Q

How much does your equipment help you to execute your artistic vision and what equipment do you use?

A

.I’m currently using two cameras: A Canon EOS 1100D and a Fufijilm X30. For me, at the moment, the camera is not very important, the camera is only the instrument that allows me to take the photos, but the photo must be composed before you shoot it in your mind and with your eye.

What would you tell a newcomer who asks for your advice on how to start?

A

Do not be carried away by fashions and labels, be aware of their capabilities and limitations, don’t just do what others do and see what others see. Try to develop your own style.

Antonio thank you very much for taking the time for this quick Q&A!
