Detectives have also considered the possibility that he was placed in the bag to minimise the risk of odours being detected by residents.

We also voiced comment that persons unknown were mischief making and trying to discredit Mr Williams. Those sources used by two newspapers in particular, almost certainly came from someone who claimed the officer was a frequent visitor to a venue popular with gays called Bar Code in Vauxhall.
