Psarades - Plyto (Lyrarakis) The Plytó grape variety was saved from extinction by the Lyrarakis family when it was planted in the "Psarades" family vineyard at 480m altitude in central Crete in the early '90s. An elegant wine, with clean fruity and fresh nut aromas of high intensity composed of green apple, kiwi and oak.

Psarades - Dafni (Lyrarakis) Its name derives from the laurel (bay leaf) plant, which is called “Dáfni” in Greek, as the wine produced resembles these aromas. Vidiano (Diamamtakis) This particular wine is made exclusively from " Vidiano " a superb white local grape variety of Crete, whose cultivation has revived on the island in the past 5-6 years. It is characterized by a particularly attractive golden colour, a very fresh nose and an elaborate and elegant bouquet of aromas with hints of fresh grapes, quince, pear, citrus and fresh almond. A wine with excellent acidity, velvety texture and a noticeable aftertaste.

Toplou - Thrapsathiri (Toplou Monastery) A white wine blend of two indigenous grape varieties "Thrapsanathiri" and "Vilana" cultivated in the vineyards of organic farming from the Holy Monastery of Toplou, one of the most significant and historic monasteries in Crete. A wine with delicate aromas, balanced acidity and a long aftertaste.

Vilana fume (Miliarakis) A golden yellow wine of the unique variety of "Vilana" solely found on the island of Crete and cultivated in the area of Peza in vineyards yielding 1.100 kilos per 1.000 sq.m. using the method of cold infusion, fermented in a stainless steel tank at 14-16oC. Lightly ageing in oak barrels, its aromas of apricot, peach and banana, combined with dried nuts and vanilla hints, develop a taste that lingers for a long time.

Ahinos - Sauvignon Blanc (Rhous) A bright straw color wine with green tints. It has the typical expression of Sauvignon Blanc bouquet. At first, hints of green pepper are apparent and as the wine breathes in the glass, mango and grapefruit aromas begin to emerge. The mouth contains an acidic quality that stings the nerves offering the wine a long aftertaste and a pleasant aromatic return.

Vera Rosa - Syrah Kotsifali (Strataridakis) An inspired rosé wine made from the French "Syrah" variety and the Cretan "Kotsifali". Bright and clear look with an intense pink color. Diamantopetra Syrah - Mantilari (Diamantakis) Diamantopetra Red is a combination of two charming, distinctive red grape varieties. The Cretan "Mandilari" variety offers the strength, the rough tannins and the acidity while the international and distinguished "Syrah" variety brings in richness and firmness in the wine. A ruby red wine with purple tints in the glass. Ripe red fruit aromas dominate the nose with cherry, plum, blackberry prevailing. Violet, crushed black pepper seeds form a rich and complex aromatic profile which in combination with the noticeable, rounded tannins and charming acidity leaves a sweet, spicy sensation in the mouth with a pleasant aftertaste .

Rhous - Syrah, Kotsifali (Rhous) A deep red wine with a ruby tint and typical aromas of both "Syrah" and "Kotsifali" varieties. A mix of olive and pepper aromas blend in with characters such as cherries and cassis. The presence of the barrel is evident with notes of vanilla and toasted bread. On the palate, the tannins are well balanced with the alcohol and the acidity and the result is a well-structured wine. The aftertaste has a fruity return.

red wines ASPROS LAGOS - Cabernet Sauvignon (Douloufakis) “Aspros Lagós” means “White Hare”. It is the placename of the vineyard. A superb red wine from Crete that expresses all the fervour and the Mediterranean temperament of the Cretan vineyard. The wine is dark ruby, nearly purple, with a rich, complex aromatic bouquet, including gooseberry, a whole range of dark fruit, pepper and hints of vanilla from the barrel. Its flavour is full and rich with fruity and spicy characteristics. The structure is balanced and the tannins are rich and powerful.

Chelona - Syrah, Grenache rouge, Mourvedre (Miliarakis) A red wine with a very bright cranberry red color, produced from the "Syrah", "Grenache Rouge" and "Mourvedre" varieties. Cultivated in vineyards situated in the west part of Giouhtas Mountain at an altitude of 440 m, south to Heraklion, in an area called “Chelona" (Turtle ) by the locals. On the nose, mature small red fruit aromas with a slight presence of oak due to its ten-month ageing. Velvet body with a touch of young acidity.

Portes - Merlot (Skouras) A deep purple wine with ruby tints fermented and macerated in stainless steel vats, aged in French barriques (partly‐new oak) for 8 months and a further 6 months in bottle. Thick and round mouth.On the nose, it is concentrated, very complex, and multi‐ dimensional. It reveals aromas of red cherries, ripe plums, sweet vanilla, and hints of violet and tobacco. On the mouth it is smooth, velvety, full‐bodied with very ripe soft tannins. Deep black and red fruit aromas fill the palate and flavours of spices and tobacco follow. The aftertaste is rich, long and complex.

A delicious ruby wine of medium intensity with ripe red fruit aromas like strawberry and cherry jam as well as chocolate and sweet spices such as cinnamon and vanilla. Elegant in the mouth, with soft tannins, ripe fruit with a good concentration and long lasting in the mouth. Ready to drink but also able to age in the bottle for four years .
