Jo marie Mal colm Most exciting weekend spot? My weekends are left up to chance and will find me anywhere between the beach, a food place that I’ve probably been craving from in the week or just being at home with my amazing family.

W hat inspired you to pursue your current career?

up with the name Lace and Zippers and have attributed to it since then the following meaning.

Law has been a part of my success plan since I was 10 years old with the direct influence coming from my mother. After, I began the thrust towards entrepreneurship with the intention to satisfy each of my requisite talents. I am not big fan of the thought that you can’t be young and successful as I have been working towards building my empire to wealth and financial freedom since as long as I can remember.

Describe your best weekend so far:

So what drives me the most is a mantra: “Success has nto age limit.”

Describe your brain child, “Lace and Zippers”, and how you came up with that title: Lace and Zippers roughly defined is an award winning fashion and lifestyle blog that has gone on to be a brand that I started in July 2010. Since then I formed a team of young, driven and talented individuals to enhance the vision. The name came from one of my usual creative “out of mind” experiences. I woke

My best weekends tend to come from being at the Jazz Festival as I get the rare chance to see some of my favourite artistes. Especially, if we’re staying at Iberostar Hotel, the aesthetic and customer service there makes being away from home a welcomed changed.

Are you a foodie? If so, what’s your weekend foodie ritual?: Food is an essential part of the weekend. It is the time to explore the delectable feast that awaits you at a new restaurant or a new social scene. One thing is certain, Sunday dinner must have rice and peas where the coconut milk is “live” with the meat optional. Saturdays are normally more of a fast food/ try something new run. In the attempt to be more health conscious, I try to “wash off my heart” and add coconut water to whatever I’m eating. Ice cream is a usual craving and I try to get my fill at Brick Oven or Haagen Daz .

“Lace is universally accepted as a soft, delicate and sophisticated fabric that embraces femininity while zippers besides their necessity in keeping clothing together, exemplifies an edgy and expressive appeal.”
