A Letter to Our Customers We’re excited to announce that EZPEDO is now Sprig Oral Health Technologies. Given the tremendous growth we’ve experienced in the last few years, why are we rebranding and what’s changing? As dentists, it is in our DNA to innovate—to do things better, faster, simpler, safer, and smarter, while at the same time improving the quality of care for our patients. We did this when we created the world’s first pediatric Zirconia crown in 2010. Since then, your continuous support and feedback has allowed our crowns and teaching programs to remain the best and most trusted in the industry. Despite this success, there is still so much more to do—so many products and techniques begging to be created or improved. To address these needs, we’re evolving from a crown company to a pediatric oral health technology company with one mission: bringing the innovation today’s patients and professionals demand and deserve to pediatric dentistry. Our new name, Sprig, embodies this mission and represents new growth—for us, for the industry, and for the kids we all serve. The things that you have grown to love about EZPEDO will not change. A BRIEF RECAP
Dentist to Dreamers Sprig was founded in 2007 as EZPEDO by dentists John Hansen and Jeff Fisher in a small cosmetic lab in the back of John’s dental office—our equivalent of an inventor’s garage. John hoped to find a better treatment option for his 3-year old son who kept breaking his strip crowns that were placed after a fall in the shower. Jeff was adamant about delivering a treatment that was both aesthetic and durable. Together, they developed the industry’s first pediatric Zirconia crown and today, along with the growing Sprig team in California, continue to create new products for pediatric professionals.

Dr. John Hansen and Dr. Jeffrey Fisher make the decision to found EZPEDO, Inc. and develop pediatric Zirconia crowns.
First prototypes of pediatric Zirconia crowns are engineered and produced in Dr. Hansen’s cosmetic dental laboratory.
EZ-Seat contour modifications are made to the occlusal profile and relaxed undercuts a re introduced.

2017 EZPEDO rebrands to Sprig Oral Health Technologies, Inc. EZPEDO patents key crown features. Sprig introduces HemeRx, the first hemostatic agent for pediatrics, and SmartMTA, the first fast-set MTA for bioregenerative pulp therapy.

Siegelvision, an organizational identity consultancy in New York, is hired to initiate the process of repositioning EZPEDO as a next-generation, oral health technology company.
Zir-Lock Ultra is introduced with the added benefits of Margin Lock. A design patent is granted for the Zir-Lock retention feature. EZPEDO University— dentistry’s premier, hands-on, over-theshoulder instructional program in the use of pediatric Zirconia crowns—is launched.

Unfortunately, dentists—including us—sometimes struggle to increase speed, manage over reduction, address multi-unit cases, and minimize trauma to the tissue during preparation. We designed our EZCrowns for use in a variety of clinical situations. Cross-bite, bruxism, space-loss or crowded cases, badly broken down teeth with very little remaining clinical crown, or just a case where you feel a big filling might not last—EZCrowns are the perfect solution to your real-world challenges. We offer our anterior and posterior crowns for cases with optimal spacing and our SL shapes for cases with arch-length loss due to crowding or space loss.
