QINGJIANGPU district is urban center of Huai'an, which was gradually extended to the outside world decades ago. As ancient part of the whole city, there were traditional buildings in the south of the Yangtze River. Most of typologies are flats with white walls and black tiles. However, with the development and renewal of the city, high-rise buildings have shown up, and the ancient city area has gradually lost its vitality because it can not keep up with the pace of the times. The design proposal of project is to reveal the tourism of this ancient city. The main aim of this scheme is to design innovation between exsisting bulidings and new buildings. According to the locals, they require plenty of programs to fulfil their wishes, including theater, hotel, cafe, studio and exhibition hall.
Site Analysis There are a large number of flats in the base, most of which are built privately, so the density of houses is large and the spacing is small, It is difficult to meet the needs of daily life and emergency fire evacuation. So the first step is to remove the small structures arranged too closely in the plot. After ensuring the space between houses is comfortable, the theater and other buildings along the river are selected as the transform objects. Finally, part of the surrounding dilapidated buildings are demolished to reserve space for new. buildings.

TAIHU Art Gallery project type: small urban building individual work 2019.10-2019.12 directed by JINRUN KANG TEL:+86 13615148696 TAIHU Lake is one of the most important water lakes in the Yangtze River Delta, which is located in the west of Suzhou city. Due to the rich water resources, harmony environment and away from the city, the coastline of Taihu Lake has always been regarded as a good place for leisure and vacation. With the development of tourism, especially the suburb tourism whose primary purpose is to bring leisure and mentality, a relatively perfect tourism system has been developed in the East Bank of TAIHU Lake, which is mainly DONGSHAN Island and XISHAN Island, and connected by the Taihu Avenue. The purpose of this design is to further improve the tourism industry of TAIHU Lake and build an art gallery with the characteristics of it. This project could bring artworks mentality and high complex functions of local tourism resources.
Site Analysis The project site is located in Linghuzhu Park of Taihu Lake, adjacent to DONGSHAN Island reosrt, with tourism industry and infrastructure. 2
The project site is located in the northwest corner of the park, on the Bank of Taihu Lake. The south side is the ship wharf and catering square, the north side is the parking lot and Taihu club, and the east side is the main part of the park.

The overall green structure around the plot is Context high, with high landscape value. Convenient transportation, close to the main roads of park and parking slot. The advantage of lake is worth to making full use of, and can be linked with the wharf and other infrastructure.

Volume Analysis Step 1. The first step is sorting out land information. Vanish existing aaroads and ponds arounf the site. The layout of art gallery has been determined according to site context.

Step 2. Secondly, the initial proposal of this project is to use the pattern of existing lake bank as the main design concept. Try to extend this pattern into the site, which could divide site as two parts in a whole. There are two main volumes on site according to previous analysis. Step 3. Thirdly, I design two squares at central of two volumes (yellow color coding) in order to add accessbility from west to east side of site. The I divide these 2 volumes according to plazas to fulfil the hierachy of the whole volume. Step 4. Forthly, cover the roof for building blocks, increase connection and integrity between blocks.

Step 5. In order to enrich the details of building facade, add lourves and glass curtain wall to fulfil the hierachy of the facade. Step 6. Refine the green space, roads and squares in the plot, extend the lakeside pathway, and the waterfront platform is adjusted according to the architectural style.

Dwellings of Covid-19 project type: Fragment Design Individual work 2020.6-2020.8 directed by CHEN CHEN TEL:+86 15601938261 SANYA is one of the most famous tourist cities in CHINA. With its unique location and natural resources. The Chinese government set up travel restrictions for several months for peple's security, which influence the tourism. But now COVID-19 has eased and the limitation has been gradually opened up. People are eager to find a possible way to travel and relax with security of health. The design proporsal of this mountain resort hotel is to build a place that can satisfy people's social needs and ensure quarantine issues by buildings layout that under the background of the epidemic. This project not only statisfied quarantine and isolated issues but also focuses on mental issues after COVID-19. What kind of buildings and typologies could revival the life passion is one of the most crcuial problem at once.

2020 is a disastrous year. With the outbreak of the new crown in WUHAN in January, CHINA has adopted a very strict blockade strategy for a long time. The great restrictions on travel have seriously affected people's daily life. All kinds of entertainment activities have been ordered to stop. It is particularly difficult to meet friends.

Site Analysis HAINAN, the southernmost province in CHINA. Hainan Island has a long history of tourism industry, full of products and natural resources. Thanks to its special geographical location, Hainan island also kept a record of zero infection during COVID-19. The project is located in SANYA, HAINAN Province. Considering the great tourism resources of SANYA and the high security of Hainan Island, SANYA has sufficient conditions to satisfy people's travel needs and reduce people's worries about infection.

Step 1. The first step is to frame out the specific location of project which on the slope mountain area. Meanwhile, the main aim and vision of this project is to protect its natural environment and create a harmony atmosphere of build environment.
Secondly, determine the central axis of the building grouping, and the main public functions are planned to be built on the central axis. The layout of individual rooms can meet the needs of social distance. The distance between buildings should be widened as far as possible.

Thirdly, put main public functions such as medical treatment, catering and meditation in the core area to meet the physiological and social needs of passengers, so as to ensure that people can communicate face to face in the background of COVID-19. Meanwhile, book bar and bath are set up at a relatively distant location to meet the needs of people's close contact with nature.

CYBER-ReSi Community project type: Structure Design Individual work 2020.8-2020.9 directed by CHEN CHEN TEL:+86 15601938261 Cyberpunk, a world both with high technology and dark social background. Through the surface of cyberpunk culture, its essence is the future world full of science and technology. Buildings of cyberpunk come of the famous place JIULONG CHENGZHAI in Hong Kong. JIULONG CHENGZHAI is one of the most famous compositive communities in the world. Now, we are trying to reproduce this compositive community. By using prefabricated construction, Furthermore, negotiate the spatial structure of the building in interior issue. Varieties of communitiy functions were put in it to satisfy the daily needs of residents.
Context Analysis Walled City in Hongkong was the place where officials of Qing Dynasty worked as consulates.
Philip K. Dick promoted the development of Cyberpunk. Which is based on combination of low-life and high tech.
Tramp and refugees live in this compact community.Various social problems had arisen due to lack of management.
Ghost In The Shell is popular in Japan, Which is the first time to link the image of "JIULONG CHENGZHAI"with cyberpunk.
The environment of the walled city is fragile due to illegal expansion of the building and without planning. Meanwhile, the real sense of"JIULONG CHENGZHAI" was formed.
With the sell of CYBERPUNK 2077, JIULONG CHENGZHAI bring back to people's view.
"JIULONG CHENGZHAI" was demolished. But its appearance was combined with the cyberpunk forever.
Structure & Volume Analysis Th e p ro j e c t i s to re b uild t h e “ JI ULO N G CHEN GZH AI ” by prefabricated construction. Although t h e re a re m a ny p ro b l e m s in JIULONG CHENGZHAI, such as messy environment, huge population density and low quality of life. The core idea of it is a multifunctional community complex. So the main problem need to be solved, which is to keep balance between life quality and high-functional.
The first step is to use prefabricated construction, which can be combined and create space to have more possibilities. the basic unit is designed as a 3000mm×3000mm×6000mm cube frame. And have not restrict it deliberately.
The second step is let the frames combine, without the limit of direction. These different combinations will be given different functions. It is not that a combination can only be given a specific function, but can reasonably allocate the most suitable function according to its specific location.

The UNIT could be thought as the combination of six different planes, each plane has the connection concept of SUNMOU structure. Each row and column have six 3000mm×3000mm squares, move the square in a row or column to increase the connectivity of the whole UNIT. White areas means the functional spaces and the grey areas means the traffic spaces, different planes have different layout, but the same thing is all the traffic line could connect four directions.
