SUCCESS STORIES Family Services Association - Home Visitation: "There are so many programs for parents in our community and this is one of those programs that all first-time parents should take. With the help of this course I feel more comfortable with my parenting skills. Knowing that the way I interact with my child is going to help her development is very important to me." - Parent United Way of the Desert - Raising a Reader: "When I don't have time to take them to the library, I am confident in knowing that they have new books to read. It also works for my daughter who is not a part of the program" - Parent "Before the program, I was the only one who read to my son. With this program, the whole family is involved. Having new books weekly, I believe, is the reason." - Parent Borrego Community Health Foundation - HealthySteps: Since implementation of the HealthySteps Program, the HealthySteps Specialist (HSS) has been able to see and assist various families at each of the five (5) selected clinic locations within the Borrego Community Health Foundation. The program has brought awareness to the gaps of services within the pediatric practice. This has allowed leadership to highlight the Healthy Steps project and the importance of the HSS at clinic sites. It has now been determined to replicate the program at all 26 locations within the Borrego Community Health Foundation. Currently, the Development staff is seeking additional funding for the replication at the San Diego clinic locations. First 5 Riverside Final Agency Progress Report FY 2018/2019
