St Andrew’s Park
249 apartments are arranged in a splayed plan form with the sheltered spaces between the new apartment buildings open towards the historic parkland to the east. The buildings create a strong enclosure of the surrounding streets at the town centre edge and by reduction in enclosure and massing from 8 to 5 storeys west to east, they generate a transition between town centre and St Andrews Park. Car and cycle parking is contained within an undercroft to reduces the impact on the public realm, and the top of the parking level has been landscaped to provide amenity space for the sole use of the residents.

Accessibility and Outreach of Asinaria Gate in the context of the monumental St John Lateran Church
Rome is the only european capital city still preserving the ancient wall system partialy intact. Walls have always been the emblem of the hystory of Rome as defense system and boundary line between the city and the surrounding. The Aurelian Walls were builted among the 270 and the 275 AD as desired by the Emperor Aureliano to defend Rome, the capital city of the empire, from barbarian attacks. Asinaria gate is one of the entrance through the walls at few meters distance from the main gate St John. Its name recalls the ancient Asinaria road antecedent the construction of the walls and connected with Tuscolana road, one of the main street in Rome.

Recovery of the suburbs: Intervention of urban requalification of Alessandrino quarter
Alessandrino is the name of the twenty third quarter of Rome, indicated by Q.XXIII. It takes its name from the Aqua Alexandrina by the emperor Alexander Severus (222-235 AD). The area is located in the East side of the city, nearby the Alessandrino Park and the new quarter of Tor Tre Teste. The aim of the project is to redevelop a highly degraded area. The public administration intends to insert a public service, as a library, for the adjustment of the area.

Development and protection of archaelogical structures in the complex of the Trajan’s market
Trajan’s Market is a large complex of ruins in the city of Rome, Italy, located on the Via dei Fori Imperiali, at the opposite end to the Colosseum. Trajan’s Market was probably built in 100 - 110 AD by Apollodorus of Damascus, an architect who always followed Trajan in his adventures and to whom Trajan entrusted the planning of his Forum, and inaugurated in 113 AD. During the Middle Ages the complex was transformed by adding floor levels, still visible today, and defensive elements such as the Torre delle Milizie, the “militia tower” built in 1200. A convent, which was later built in this area, was demolished at the beginning of the twentieth century to restore Trajan’s Markets to the city of Rome.
