It is a question often asked: “What is the best jet ski on the market?” While the subject is up for heated debate amongst enthusiasts, there can be no doubt that the Ultra 310LX is right up there.

KawasaKi set a new benchmark in the feld when they unveiled their fagship Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 300 back in 2011. Easily the fastest and most comfortable PWC in its class, it had competitors scrambling to respond with their own rival products.

The 310 range is the updated version of this groundbreaking product, unveiled last year to wide acclaim. As the fagship model, the 2016 Kawasaki Jet Ski Ultra 310L boasts impressive specifcations, including the JETSOUND audio system – a frst in personal watercraft, allowing riders to listen to music via the 2x20-watt rated amplifer and 30-watt speakers. There is also a waterproof stowage area for an iPhone or smartphone as your music source, and a USB port to accommodate a memory stick.

The Ultra 310L model has a contoured and scalloped, two-tone, threepassenger seating layout, which sports the industry’s frst heat-resistant cover to help provide comfort in a variety of conditions.

At the heart of this machine is an inline 1,498cc four-cylinder DOHC engine. Derived from Kawasaki’s Ninja Z TM-14R sportbike, this engine has been developed to marine grade standard and power is increased thanks in a large part to the intercooled, roots-type Eaton Twin Vortices Series (TVS) supercharger which results in a power output of a whopping 310hp. This kind of power will easily carry three adults with ease, and also enables the 310 to double as an effective tow sports craft.

The three-blade impeller that is directly driven from the engine provides superb propulsion, powering the watercraft’s deep-V hull and contributing to straight-line tracking and cornering ability.

The Ultra 310LX has industry-leading, 56-gallon storage capacity and a 20.6-gallon fuel tank, which is the largest in its class. It also has separate keys allowing full power operation and Smart Learning Operation, which reduces engine output so less experienced riders can become familiar with the handling and response of the Jet Ski watercraft at a more relaxed pace. The keys are color-coded to help prevent confusion over which setting is in use.

For 2016, the Jet Ski Ultra 310LX watercraft will be available in a new striking color scheme of Ebony and Metallic Carbon Gray.
