options as well as being able to sample different styles which only left the taste buds longing for more. The Tom Yaam Goong is a perfect example of this as we tucked into their delicious Thai soup that proved incredibly flavoursome and was wonderfully presented in a lime green tagine-style pot. This particular dish added a bit of spice to the palate, with meaty tiger prawns delivering that protein punch. The muddled mocktails and drinks proved as a complementary bonus, again, perfect for the ‘gram as well as indulging your taste buds and thirst. We then found ourselves crossing the border to China for a staple of any Asian menu, Roasted Duck. It’s an all-time favourite for a reason and it’s undoubtedly one of the most popular dishes on the menu. The five-spices marinade, bok choi, duck gravy and pickled ginger provided the perfect accompaniment to the succulent meat.

Now, the Gaeng Kung Mung Gorn is perfect for anyone who loves to eat from the ocean, with a kick to boot. There was no surprise that this panang lobster curry dish was listed under the Sabai Thai Special section of the menu, and this is an understatement to say the very least as the sweet mango and asparagus danced amidst the delectable curry sauce. Now, we wouldn’t be fair to our taste buds if we didn’t further indulge in their incredible Nasi Goreng, a must have for any Asian food lovers. The egg yolk spilling over the prawn and satay chicken is the kind of bite which reminds us why good food is so important, it just makes us feel amazing!

It’s a well-known fact that there is always room for dessert, anyone who tells you otherwise is telling fibs. When you think of Asian puddings, Mango Sticky Rice, always stands out and Sabai Thai delivers this perfect Khow Niew Mamaung. Their Po Pia Gluay Thod provided a fitting end to a meal served with delicious ice cream, which fits hand-in-hand with the fried banana spring roll, every spoonful leaves you wanting more.

The ambience, decor and intricacy of flavours ensures that we’ll definitely be back, and next time we’ll be bringing the whole family!
