Employees at VG raised more than £14,500 for Jersey Hospice since the start of its financial year in May and the end of January.

A total of £14,545 was raised through a range of initiatives dreamt up by the company’s fundraising and marketing teams in celebration of the firm’s 40th anniversary - a sum that surpasses any previous fundraising efforts. One of the flagship events which buoyed fundraising efforts was the “VG Quiz of the Decades” in November which saw a team from Jersey Hospice and over 20 valued partners of VG – including legal, accountancy and recruitment firms – assemble teams of trivia masters to flaunt their cerebral prowess across a spectrum of trivia spanning the four Decades that comprise VG's history. The evening was a true celebration of community spirit with just over £4000 being raised for Jersey Hospice and Collas Crill being crowned winners! In another successful initiative as part of the firm's festive celebrations, the fundraising team rounded up a range of raffle prizes donated by key suppliers which saw VG staff purchasing tickets for their chance to win prizes on offer, ranging from wine hampers hampers and restaurant vouchers to spa experiences and hotel stays.
