Cajas S.,– mcajas@icesi.edu.co Fecha límite para la recepción de resumen e introducción de ponencias: 28 de marzo de 2016 *Son bienvenidas las ponencias en inglés y en español* *Papers written in English and in Spanish are welcome* Este año la Constitución Política cumple 25 años de haber salido a la luz, después de un proceso participativo sin precedentes en Colombia. De la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente surgió un documento original, ecléctico y, sin duda, lleno de grandes aspiraciones para un país que necesitaba desesperadamente un “revolcón” institucional. El Departamento de Estudios Jurídicos, el Programa de Derecho y la Revista Jurídica Precedente de la Facultad de Derecho y Ciencias Sociales de la Universidad Icesi, quieren conmemorar este aniversario haciendo un homenaje a la Constitución de 1991. Por ello, invitamos a investigadores e investigadoras a enviar sus contribuciones académicas y a participar en el foro que tendrá lugar el mes de septiembre de 2016 en la Universidad Icesi, en Cali. Las líneas temáticas en las que se recibirán ponencias son:
Tema 1: La Constitución de 1991 y las transformaciones de la educación jurídica. En este eje temático se aceptan trabajos sobre pedagogía, didáctica de currículos e investigación jurídica, entre otros. Tema 2: Género y Constitución de 1991. Se aceptan ponencias sobre temas de género, feminismo, activismo LGBTI, etc. Tema 3: La constitucionalización del derecho colombiano: tensiones, logros y desafíos. Se aceptan ponencias en todas las áreas del derecho que den cuenta de este fenómeno. A modo de ejemplo: Derecho Ambiental, Privado, Penal, Comercial, Laboral, Procesal, etc. Tema 4: Constitucionalismo colombiano y Corte Constitucional en el derecho comparado. Tema 5: Constitución de 1991 y el constitucionalismo de grupos vulnerables. En este eje se aceptan trabajos que traten a realización de los derechos a la igualdad, dignidad y no discriminación, así como la e implementación de enfoques diferenciales.
Condiciones: Enviar un resumen de máximo 400 palabras más una introducción a lo que podría ser un artículo de reflexión o de investigación, e indicar el tema en el que desea participar. Los ponentes seleccionados pueden enviar su ponencia o un artículo de reflexión o investigación el lunes 30 de mayo de 2016, que siga las normas de publicación de la Revista Precedente disponible en http://www.icesi.edu.co/precedente/normas_para_publicar.php. Además de participar en el foro como ponente, los artículos propuestos se enviarán a evaluación por pares y podrán ser publicados, según el resultado de este proceso, en la edición especial de la Revista Precedente dedicada a los 25 años de la Constitución. 25 Years of the Colombian Constitution Guest editor: Mario A. Cajas S. mcajas@icesi.edu.co Deadline for the submission of abstracts and introductions: March 28, 2016 *Son bienvenidas las ponencias en inglés y en español* *Papers written in English and in Spanish are welcome* Colombia’s Political Constitution came into being 25 years ago, thanks to an unprecedented participative process. From the National Constituent Assembly came an original, eclectic document, undoubtedly full of aspirations for a country that desperately needed an institutional revolution. The Legal Studies Department, the Law Program and the Law Review, Precedente, published by the School of Law and Social Sciences at Universidad Icesi, wish to commemorate this anniversary by paying tribute to the 1991 Constitution. We therefore invite researchers to submit their academic contributions and to participate in the forum that will take place in September 2016 at Universidad Icesi, in Cali. The thematic subjects for papers are as follows:
Theme 1: The 1991 Constitution and the transformations of legal education. In this line, works on education, didactic curriculum development and legal research, among others, will be accepted. Theme 2: Gender and the 1991 Constitution. This theme will group papers on gender, feminism, LGBTI activism, etc. Theme 3: The “constitutionalisation” of Colombian law: Tensions, achievements and challenges. Papers will be accepted on all areas of the law if this phenomenon is showcased; for example, Environmental, Private, Criminal, Commercial, Labor, and Procedural Law, etc. Theme 4: Colombian constitutionalism and Constitutional Courts in comparative law. Theme 5: The 1991 Constitution and constitutionalism of vulnerable groups. In this axis, works on the right to equality, dignity, and non-discrimination, as well as on the implementation of differential foci will be accepted.
Conditions: Authors are required to send an abstract (max. 400 words), plus an introduction to what could be a reflection or a research paper, indicating their thematic line. The selected speakers must send their reflection or research paper by Monday 30th of May 2016. The paper must follow the author’s guidelines, available at http://www.icesi.edu.co/precedente/normas_para_publicar.php. As well as participating in the forum as a speaker, the articles proposed will be sent for peer evaluation and may be published, according to the result of this process, in the special edition of Revista Precedente (Precedente Law Review) dedicated to 25 years of the Constitution.
