THE PRESIDENT’S BALL

These time-honored Fairfield traditions are just a few of the annual events that Stags and alumni look forward to each year.

More commonly known as Pres Ball, this September event is hosted by University President Mark R. Nemec, PhD, at the stately Bellarmine Hall. Don your finest threads, grab your friends, and plan to dance the night away under the stars.

Annual Tree Lighting

Brimming with Stag Spirit, our annual tree lighting kicks off the holiday season by transforming campus into a winter wonderland. This festive evening features hot cocoa and cookies, holiday wishes from the President, Christmas carols, and folks dressed up in Santa hats and — of course — ugly sweaters.

Red Sea Madness

A pep rally unlike any other, Red Sea Madness kicks off basketball season with a combo of sports, Stag Spirit, and a big-name concert. Decked out in Fairfield red, students cheer on our Division I athletes, enjoy food trucks and giveaways, and rock out to musical guests like DNCE, T-Pain, Flo Rida, and more.

Clam Jam

It’s the end-of-the-year celebration juniors and seniors can’t wait to attend and Fairfield alumni remember the most. It’s Clam Jam, an outdoor music festival on Fairfield Beach that brings students together for sand, sun, food, friends, and live performances by up-and-coming artists.
