SQUADRON 50
Time to book your journey into space Our mission for this latest addition to the iconic Squadron series has always been to create the true class leader in terms of the spaciousness it would offer, relative to yachts of similar length. In every major area this ground-breaking new Squadron succeeds admirably and two features in particular have helped us achieve this ambition - the ‘full length’ hull design and our unique Tender Launch system. Between them, these advances have helped make more internal space available to our designers and the result is a level of accommodation unmatched by any competitor. First, a spectacular, light-filled master cabin. With its panoramic hull windows, overhead glazed panels and 6'6" flat headroom, its overall dimensions are of a size you won’t normally find aboard any yacht less than 60'. The story continues with two spacious and beautifully appointed guest cabins, as well as two large en suite bathrooms, each with full-size showers - the perfect layout for cruising in comfort with family and friends. These luxurious accommodation standards are equally impressive at deck level. In terms of both equipment and styling, the huge, airy saloon is an example of interior design at its very best and here we feature enormous panoramic windows, offered with the option of an oversized powered opening section. The fabulous galley is thoughtfully positioned aft in the saloon area, creating even more space and delivering the perfect alfresco dining experience. Sociable too, because from this area, the ‘frameless’ glass entrance door - with its own opening window - allows seamless access to the extensive cockpit with its ‘visually balanced’ transom and twin stern gates. In the cockpit and deck areas, advanced design and technology meet with sheer practicality. Here you’ll find the spacesaving, easy-to-use optional Tender Launch system as well as convenient fairlead bollards, deck-to-dock apertures and handy warp lockers, all geared to making boat handling a pleasure rather than a chore, The optional crew cabin has its own aft window and can be accessed easily from the cockpit, even when under way. But perhaps going ‘up top’ provides one of the most breathtaking moments because this is, after all, the largest and most lavishly equipped flybridge in its class; no contest. Not only an exhilarating position from which to command the boat, this huge area exhibits all the latest thinking when it comes to facilities for entertaining guests and relaxing in style. So whether you’re on the move or at that favourite anchoring spot, this flybridge is the place to be. Squadron 50. The space race has a stylish new leader.
