The new Targa 44 Open and Gran Turismo

Targa 44 Open

Targa 44 GRAN TURISMO

Twice as good as before For 2010 Model Year, Fairline are introducing an all new Open cockpit version of the highly successful Targa 44 Gran Turismo hard top model, offering more choice to buyers of this exciting sports cruiser and, economically speaking, bringing her class-leading performance and cruising capabilities within reach of an even wider spectrum of boat owners. Both Open and Gran Turismo models feature a newly designed cockpit with hugely increased space and a dining area which easily converts into a sunpad - providing real adaptability and functionality. Because running costs play an increasingly important part in every boat buyer’s decision, the new Targa 44 is offered with a choice of two Volvo Penta stern drive engine choices, each available with the joystick control/bow thruster options for easy manoeuvring. Typical Fairline performance remains with up to 35 knots on tap. The GT model, in its stylish and beautifully engineered hard-top configuration, has already proved to be a winner with discerning owners the world over, combining the superior, smooth-riding performance for which the award-winning Targa line-up is renowned, with unmatched standards of craftsmanship. Both variants of the Targa 44 are offered with greater choice in other areas too. While a gas hob and oven will now be fitted as standard, an upgrade to electric domestic services is also available, with 4kVA generator, combi microwave/oven and cockpit fridge, as well as a ‘cockpit bar’ option, which adds a BBQ griddle and icemaker to the package. Some things should never change of course, so the luxurious, spacious and practical accommodation is still … well, close to perfect, as you’d expect from Fairline; which, in summary, means sumptuous master and guest cabins, a day-access toilet, a comprehensively equipped galley, an extra-large and accessible bathing platform and a fabulous cockpit with masses of space for entertaining, sunbathing and relaxing.
