From custom crafted overstuffed sandwiches to chef inspired deli salads, incredible cheeses, shrimp platters and fresh luau fruit bowls, we are your one-stop-shop for all your outdoor fooding experiences. This month, we are inspired by simple and easy light dinners that are healthy and oh so tasty—all starting with a perfectly seasoned Fairway rotisserie chicken as the base. This delicious recipe will surely become a family favorite!

If you’re staying in town and looking to ignite your tastebuds, we encourage you to take a class at The Cooking Place, our new cooking school at our flagship 74th and Broadway store. There are over 100 classes that range from fun-filled date nights to authentic global cooking — whether you’re a great cook or just a novice. Some of the classes for July are Death by Chocolate, Soul-Warming Southern dishes, Basic Baking and Chinese Takeout.

with these spiked summer cocktails Boylan’s and Cheerwine colas are great choices for mixing up some simple and super refreshing summer cocktails. You can find all the ingredients at Fairway. So make your shopping list and give these a shot!

Cheerwine Colada • Cheerwine • 5 oz Pina Colada Mix • 2 oz Coconut Rum Fill ice cubes trays with Cheerwine and freeze overnight. Add 2 cups of Cheerwine ice cubes to a blender. Add the Pina Colada Mix and rum and blend until smooth. Pour into a cocktail glass of your choice and enjoy!

Cheerwine Cocktail:

• 1 part bourbon or vodka.

• 3 parts Cheerwine.

• Splash of lime juice (about ¼ ounce) • Optional garnish: lime wedge and/or maraschino cherry.

Cool off from the inside out Staying cool all starts with what you're eating. Here are some suggestions on how to stay cool and refreshed during these hot summer days.

CITRUS FRUITS Oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruits are a few citrus fruits that are full of vitamins and antioxidants that leave you feeling refreshed every time you eat them. Whether you use them to make a fruit salad, eat them on the go, infuse your water, or make a vinaigrette, the possibilities are endless. You are sure to feel exceptionally cool after incorporating these fruits into your diet.

WATERMELON Nothing is better than biting into a fresh, juicy piece of watermelon. It has water in its name so it must be refreshing, and it will keep you hydrated. Eating the watermelon alone or throwing it into a salad should do the trick.

CUCUMBERS These cool guys are full of water and important vitamins and nutrients. Cucumbers are the perfect addition to any salad, and you can also enjoy them with your favorite dip. They are sure to revive you after spending the day in the summer sun.

MINT & CILANTRO These two herbs have a natural ability to leave you feeling cool after eating them.

Incorporating these flavors is the perfect option to add some excitement and refreshment to any dish.

GREENS Make yourself a fresh salad this summer by incorporating some leafy greens into the mix like iceberg lettuce, spinach, collard greens, and arugula. These greens are high in water content, which makes them a perfect choice. There are other ways to enjoy these greens as well, such as putting them in your favorite sandwich or mixing them into your smoothies for some extra nutrients.

FROZEN FRUITS Freezing your favorite fruits can be the perfect (and healthy) snack to help you cool down on a hot day. Eating them on their own, throwing them into a smoothie, or making fruit-infused water are great ways to stay refreshed and hydrated.
