Valentine's Day Crafts Your Kids Will Love What’s better than some chocolate covered, sweet, salty and crunchy pretzels or popcorn? These are SO easy to make, and the options for customizing them are endless, which makes these the perfect Valentine’s Day crafts to make with the kids!
Chocolate Dipped Pretzels Ingredients: 1 package baker’s white chocolate melting chips 1 package baker’s milk chocolate melting chips 24 large pretzel rods Assorted valentine-themed candy and sprinkles Directions: Pour each kind of melting chips into a separate microwave-safe bowl. Microwave each bowl in 30-second intervals. stirring each time, until fully melted and smooth. Take about 1/4 of each chocolate and place into ziplock bags. Dip each pretzel in the melted chocolate of your choice, leaving 1” at the bottom of the pretzel undipped. Twist the rod to let the excess chocolate drip off. Let chocolate set for five minutes. Coat the pretzels with candy in a large bowl. You can use M&M’s, chopped nuts or choose from a variety of Valentine-themed sprinkles! Place the coated pretzels onto a wax-paper lined baking sheet to let them set. Once laid out, you can cut a small corner off of each of the ziplock bags, and drizzle the white and milk chocolate over each of the pretzels. Leave pretzels out to set, about 3-5 minutes, then enjoy! Pretzels can be stored covered in the fridge for up to one week.
Valentine’s Popcorn Ingredients: 5 cups popped popcorn 1/4 cup baker’s white chocolate melting chips 1/4 cup baker’s milk chocolate melting chips 1/4 cup valentine M&Ms Directions: Spread popcorn on wax paper lined baking sheet. Melt chocolates by microwaving for 30 second intervals, stirring and repeating until fully melted. Allow to cool for 2-3 minutes. Drizzle each melted chocolate over the popcorn. Sprinkle M&Ms over mixture. Allow 10 minutes for candy to firm before serving.

5 Fruits That Can Improve Your Heart Health
It’s fitting that in the month of Valentine’s Day comes another reason to turn your attention to the heart–February is also American Heart Month.
Making small changes to your daily life can improve your health and lower your chances of heart disease. These changes can include adding exercise to your routine, quitting smoking and probably the easiest change to make, improving your diet by incorporating heart-healthy foods. Fresh raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, strawberries and watermelon taste great and are full of vitamins, antioxidants, phytonutrients & soluble fiber, all of which can help maintain good heart health.
Raspberries
These berries are loaded with polyphenols -- antioxidants that mop up damage-causing free radicals in your body. They also deliver fiber and Vitamin C, which are both linked to a lower risk of stroke.
Blackberries
Most people don’t get enough fiber in their diet. And not getting enough fiber may increase your risk of heart disease. For such a tiny berry, blackberries are high in fiber. One cup of raw blackberries has almost 8 grams. These are also a great source of beneficial vitamins and minerals and antioxidants. They’re low in calories, carbs, and fat and easy to add to your diet.
