This morning we drive to the coastal town of Akcakoca. Its old town area, situated on a gentle hill is a well preserved neighbourhood of traditional houses of wood and firebricks, lining square-shaped blocks. We then drive to the UNESCO World Heritage-listed town of Safranbolu. B

Today we will drive towards the Black Sea coast to Trabzon, stopping on the way for a short visit to Yason Church which stands along one of the most picturesque locations on the Black Sea coast. Then you will have great photo opportunity at Boztepe before heading to Trabzon. B

Day 9: Trabzon

Today we tour Trabzon and surrounds, visiting the historical Hagia Sophia Church. Proceed to Uzungol, a picturesque lake surrounded by thick woods before returning back to hotel. B

After breakfast, we start our tour from Hidirlik Hill to get a city view then discover Safranbolu's wellpreserved wooden houses, Cinci Inn and Bath, old government building, the clock tower and the Arasta Bazaar where we will learn about the traditional handicraft shops. Day 2: Orak Island – Cokertme

After your breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the boat. Then we will cruise to Orak Island. Here you will have the opportunity of swimming in the crystal-blue waters of Orak Island and enjoying lunch, we will then sail to Cokertme, a small and picturesque fishing town, for dinner and an overnight stay. Day 3: Seven Islands (Kufre / Uzun Lima – Long Port), English Harbour

Before breakfast in the early morning, we will cruise to Seven Islands. You will experience another excellent day in the Seven Islands Region. In this region which is full of many small islands and coral reef, it is recommended that you should dive, swim, sleep and rest. Our guests can also enjoy a walk in the forests which are filled with pine trees. Our first stop in Seven Islands Region will be Kufre Bay. Then we will be anchoring at Uzun Liman (Long Port). CABIN CHARTER GULETS

We will cruise to Sedir (Cedrae) Island. This unique island with its small beach and unbelievable clear water is like an open-air museum. You can see the city walls, the temple from the time of Dorians' reign (later restored as a church), the amphitheatre with 1.500 guest capacity and some vaulted historical buildings. You can walk around the wrecks of pillars with antique writings on them or the ancient stones decorated with reliefs. Cleopatra Beach, located on this island, has a very special kind of sand that can only be found in the deserts of Northern Africa. According to the myth, King Antonius brought the sand from Egypt via sea for Cleopatra. Then our boat will sail to Karacasogut village for dinner and spend the night there. It is one of the oldest theatres in Anatolia with a capacity of 13.000 guests and it is still hosting many shows and concerts for the artlovers of Bodrum. Another place that you should visit when you arrive in Bodrum is the landmark of the city, the 'Castle of Saint Peter'. It is one of the best preserved pieces of architecture with a history dating back to the Middle Ages. 'Myndos Gate' through which Alexander the Great entered Halicarnassus is another place that you should not miss.

Day 2: Cos (Kos)

Following the breakfast, you will be informed about the cruise itinerary and the boat. After the customs formalities are completed, we will cruise to Kos Island. Asclepion, known to be the birth place of Hippocrates, who is 'the Father of Medical Sciences', is located here. All the people from the east Mediterranean with health problems were treated in Kos. Kos; the second largest island of the 12 islands (the Dodecanese Islands) has a very mild climate and very fertile lands. The island houses a 560-yearold tree, a 211-year-old fountain and a 290 km long beach. You may take a quick swim in Lambi Beach which is very close to Kos Harbor. Kos is one of the islands with the best night life. Nafklirou, a street full of bars, is always crowded, colorful, and full of life.

Day 3: Pserimos, Leros

We will start to cruise early in the morning to Pserimos Island for breakfast and a swimming break. Then we will cruise to the beautiful island of Leros. Leros is a mountainous, green island with high cliffs and many small bays and villages. After lunch and a swimming break in Xerakampos, we will anchor at Lakki Harbour or Agia Marina Port located in the east. You should visit Platanos the main city of Leros with steep stairs, narrow streets, and flower gardens. From Platanos you can take the steps leading up the Castle of Leros climbing 300 steps! Rent a bike or explore this island on foot.

Early in the morning, we will have a swimming break at a bay of Gyali Island on the way to Nisyros Island. The volcano on Nisyros erupted in 1422 and is still active. Nikea village, located on the side of the crater is constituted with white streets and a mosaic-style square. You can take an optional bus tour to the crater (volcano). We will anchor at Symi Port late in the afternoon. You can see the shoreline with its neo-classical houses and the peripheral districts. You are going to adore Symi Island for its pine and oak forests and unique bays.

Day 4: Rhodos:

Day 5: Datca, Kargi

We return to Turkey via Datca. Datca was founded by the Dorians who came from Aegean Sea to the southern coast of Ionia in the 7th century B.C. The island has no humidity at all and has fresh air with plenty of oxygen. The historian Strabon was right when he remarked of Datca’s weather: "God would send his beloved servants to Datca to live longer". According to a myth while the Spanish pirates were passing by the coast of Datca, they disembarked people with Hansen's disease in Sariliman Bay and these abandoned people recovered from their disease with the help of the clean weather of Datca. You may take a walk in Datca Harbor. Our last stop will be Kargı Bay.

Day 6: Inceburun – Palamutbuku, Knidos

We will start to sail towards Inceburun. The breakfast and a swimming break will take place here. After that we will cruise to Palamutbükü for lunch and a swimming break. We will cruise to Cnidus for dinner and an overnight stay. Cnidus was a developed city in science, art and architecture. Eudoxos, a very popular astronomer and maths professor; Dr. Euryphon; Polygontos, a popular painter; Skopas and Bryaksis of Faros, the most famous sculptors of the era; Sostrates, the architect of Alexandrian light house -one of the seven wonders of the Worldand Ktesias the doctor, who saved the life of a Presian king from a disaster, lived on this island. Dr. Euryphon and his students founded the second biggest medical science school in Cnidus. The island also hosts the largest sun clock of its time which was erected by Eudoksos. Knidos was the home for Aphrodite's monument and in those times the city was famous for brothels and became popular for sailors and Arabic tradesmen. You may take a walk on the shore to see the ruins.

Day 7: Black Island – Poyraz Harbour Bodrum

We will begin to cruise early in the morning to Karaada (Black Island). Breakfast and a swimming break will be at Poyraz Bay which is located on the northern side of the island. This is such a nice bay with its turquoise-blue waters. We will dock in Bodrum Harbor for dinner and an overnight stay.

Australians travelling to Turkey as a tourist or for business should apply for an e-visa online at www.evisa.gov.tr prior to travel. The current cost is 60USD (subject to change). Australians will have a maximum stay of 90 days within a 180 day period for tourists. New Zealand citizens who intend to travel to Turkey for tourism-related purposes for up to 90days do not require a visa in advance of travel to Turkey. Provided they can show sufficient funds to support themselves and evidence of onward travel bookings, they are usually granted entry to Turkey for a period of 90 days. All other visa types should be requested through your nearest Turkish Embassy or Consulate.

Attire Light comfortable travel clothing is the most suitable for touring, but do consider your chosen travel season when packing. If you plan to visit Turkeyâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s famous mosques, ladies should also bring a scarf.

Passengers have the right to no penalty cancellation within 7 days notice of any price increase in excess of 10%. Children: aged 5-12 at tour commencement must share a room with two adults at the appropriate twin room rate. Tour Price Exclusions

Domestic and international airfares (except where specified), airport taxes, passport and visa fees, insurance, laundry, phone calls, beverages, meals not detailed in the itinerary, Tour Guide and Bus Driver tips, personal expenses, excess baggage, optional excursions etc. are not included. Quoted prices do not include your travel costs to leave the tour or return home early for any reason.

Reservations & Payments

A deposit greater of 10% or $300 per person per tour is required to confirm your booking. Final payment is required at least 45 days before your departure from Australia. Added detail is available online.

Booking Arrangements

A Travel Agent will make your booking arrangements and, by requesting such booking, you are deemed to have accepted Fairy Chimneys Travel full terms and conditions.

Changes & Cancellations

Changes to any confirmed booking attract a $100 per person fee. Cancellations to any confirmed booking attract a $300 per person fee. Tour price is forfeit on a scalable rate for cancellations made within 45 days of departure. Refer online for extra details, including penalty scale.

Other

It is your responsibility to comply with the terms, conditions or requirements of service providers and any country or governmental authorities, or to bear the costs and losses incurred as a consequence.
