From the Director of Development

Dear FAIS Community,

Welcome back to a new school year! I am looking forward to the opportunity to come together as a school and return to some of the traditions that have been part of the fabric of this community.

Looking back on the past year, I am full of pride in how our families, grandparents, and friends came together in support of FAIS. We hosted a unique, remote wine tasting for Fête du Vin that allowed us to connect directly with the winemakers. We blew our goal out of the water during the Virtual Gala, celebrating the silver linings of the past year and raising funds to completely renovate the Inukai Family Foundation Gymnasium and support movement on campus. On top of all that, we had more donors to the Annual Fund than any of the previous four years.

Seeing our students back on campus this spring reminded me of why we’re here—to provide a creative, imaginative, unique, and challenging learning environment for our students. My job is to help support that goal through philanthropy, and I couldn’t be more honored to be in this role.

I can’t wait for the opportunity to connect with you in person in the coming year. I can only imagine the height of what we can achieve together, seeing what we’ve been able to accomplish apart.
