FAKRO started out in the early nineties (1991) in Nowy Sacz, Poland where the idea to manufacture skylights and roof windows was adopted by the company’s founder.

In 1994 first FAKRO windows are delivered to customers in Poland

In 1996 first windows manufactured by FAKRO are sold to a customer outside of Poland In 2000 FAKRO introduced to the market

The FAKRO Group consists of 12 manufacturing plants The FAKRO Group includes 16 distribution companies scattered around the globe FAKRO products are available in over 50 countries worldwide The FAKRO Group employs over 3300 people The production area is over 2 150 000 sq.ft. To date FAKRO has sold over 7 500 000 windows

Currently export sales account for 70% of total FAKRO production and sales FAKRO holds the the position of world’s second highest company in sales of roof windows which is approximately 15% of the global market

FAKRO’s product range consists of more than 1000 standard products FAKRO is one of the largest attic ladder manufacturers in the world FAKRO holds over 100 patent applications FAKRO holds over 20 certificates issued by the most prestigious international institutes
