Multi Activity Camp Are you looking to keep your children active for half a day, a full day or even a full week, then the Multi Sports Camp is for you. Led by experienced coaches and leaders, the children will be entertained and active! Our camp will give the children a taste of activities such as basketball, football, tennis, dancing and swimming, as well as games and more! Suitable for P1 – P7. Camps will run as follows: Week

Basketball Camp These camps are suitable for basketball beginners and more experienced players.

We offer a variety of different sports activities each hour that will link to local sports clubs. The focus of the sessions is participation and most of all… enjoyment! If you or someone you know has a physical, learning or sensory disability then we would love to see you at our multi-sports sessions this Easter! Please bring a water bottle and a snack, plus swimming clothes and towel.

One to One Swimming

Available for children and adults looking for dedicated teaching. These classes are useful for complete beginners and for any swimmer looking to improve confidence, skills and technique. Classes are arranged to suit your preferred location, day and time. Age

Helix Park M-4PM APRIL 2018 | 11A THE HELIX | 4

The Helix Emergency Services Day is back by popular demand for 2018! Think you’ve got what it takes to be a first aider or fancy seeing what the Fire Service keep inside those huge fire appliances? Your local emergency services will be at the park with their vehicles and equipment putting on some exciting displays. This family-friendly event is completely free of charge and will include a sensory hour between 3 and 4pm (where no sirens, flashing lights or other loud noises will be used at this time).

Easter Hunt

30 Mar – 2 April 11am - 4pm £1 per entry

Hop on down to the Helix this April and take part in our Easter Hunt! Collect a clue sheet from the Plaza Café or Visitor Centre, explore the park and see if you can complete the challenges and find the hidden treasures… Participation is £1 per entry and all participants will receive a mini Easter prize!

Muiravonside Country Park Great Easter Egg Hunt

30 March – 2 April | £1 per entry Collect your trail map from the Café and follow the clues left by the Easter Bunny. Find all of the eggs that he’s hidden around the park, complete all of the challenges and collect your prize from the Café. No pre-booking required. Café opening hours: Mon to Fri 10am – 3pm; Sat & Sun 10am – 4pm.

Muiravonside Country Park Family Friendly Badger Watch Fri 6 April | £5pp 7.15pm – late | Age 6+ Come along and join the ranger service on a badger watch. No outdoor clothing required as event will be held inside. Cameras are allowed. Meet at Muiravonside Country Park Café courtyard. Booking essential on 01324 506850.

Outdoor Activities Your adventure starts here! This Easter we will once again be offering a childcare element to the service by opening our doors at 8.30am in the morning and remaining open until 5pm after the activity has ended. During non-activity time participants will be closely supervised at the centre. Participants on all courses are required to bring; Towel, Complete change of clothing (including spare trainers), Packed lunch and drinks, Any relevant medication, All specialist equipment will be supplied. Our activities all begin at 9am and end at 4.30pm.
