Music fans can relive the songs from yesteryear with highlights including Starman: The David Bowie Story, Hotel California, Macca: The Concert and the one and only Les McKeown’s Bay City Rollers! We are thrilled to have on the bill some of the top names in music including Barbara Dickson, The Ronnie Scott’s All Stars, Dougie Maclean and the MOBO award winning YolanDa Brown. Families are in for a real treat with whole host of brilliant shows that are already selling fast! The Gruffalo and Stick Man bring Julia Donaldson’s books to life and the cheeky scamp Hairy Maclary also pays us a visit, I know that my family love these adaptations from page to stage and you will be singing the songs for weeks after! Sometimes you just need a good laugh and a fun night out and for that we are the place to come! Comedy comes in the form of Dirty Dusting – a side-splitting comedy romp about three cleaners setting up a sex chat line starring Benidorm’s Crissy Rock, The Francie and Josie show – a retelling of the Scottish comedy icons funniest routines and sketches and the

We have something a little different for you with the incredible Forbidden Night’s Sexy Circus show direct from London and 80s Mania where over 25 pop icons will be recreated with live band and dancers. One show I must give mention to is Wisdom of a Fool. In this 5 star one-man play Jack Lane takes you behind Norman Wisdom’s well-known character playing over 30 roles to standing ovations across the country. A beautifully told tale of the nation’s legendary and loveable clown. This programme is packed, and already the diary for 2018 is looking very exciting with big names in comedy and music. I often get feedback from visiting companies saying how great the Falkirk audiences are, so thank you to everyone who comes along and supports all the performances. Anyway, enough from me! MURDER ~ JUST WHAT THE DOCTOR ORDERED In Edinburgh between 1827 and 1828 science and murder cling together in a dance of death. Sixteen people are slaughtered by Burke and Hare and the devil and all his works prowls the streets of ’Auld Reekie’. Dr Robert Knox, scientist, doctor and anatomist supreme, waits in Surgeons Square to buy bodies for the sake of advancing medical knowledge. His door is chapped, a body is delivered, money is paid and no questions are asked. A trail of terror leads from

West Port to the dissection table of Robert Knox. Murder will out and a price must be paid, even by the anatomist supreme. Doctor Knox will have to pay that price.

In January 2010, Douglas Nairne and Alistair Digges decided that they would create a production of Puccini’s La Bohème to be performed in their home towns and at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. After the overwhelming success of their initial performances, they decided to take La Bohème further and toured around Scotland.
