It’s demo day! Start your extreme home makeover with a two-hour session with Fitzpatrick Painting & Construction’s lead designer. The designer will walk you through the renovation process, including choosing interior and exterior paint colors. Once your paint colors are chosen, it’s time to talk about construction! Whether it is new cabinets, new flooring, new counter tops, tile backsplash, repairing dry rot, replacing interior or exterior doors, building or repairing a deck or fence, tile for the bathroom or kitchen, or installing crown molding, Fitzpatrick Painting & Construction expertly tackles all of your updates.

As the 2010 and 2018 Uncorked Wine Auction Commemorative Artist and long-time

Family Building Blocks supporter, John has created another beautiful work to help “Keep Children Safe and Families Together” in our community.

A third-generation Van Dreal artist, John began painting at age seven with instruction from his father, an accomplished watercolor artist. With the support of his parents, each providing encouragement in the form of ideas, creativity, work ethic, and financial support, John continued to paint, study, and refine his skills.

He earned his formal art education from Brigham Young University, receiving his BFA under the instruction of Greenwich Workshop artist James C. Christensen, oil painter Bruce Smith, and printmaker Jenni Christenson. Following his BFA, John completed his graduate work in Educational Psychology.

An award-winning artist, John has received much recognition through solo and group exhibitions at a number of galleries in the Northwest as well as the South. In addition to his work as an artist, the published author works as a school district psychologist and Director of Safety and Risk Management for Salem-Keizer Public Schools.

Welcome to Bryn Mawr Vineyards!

We are thrilled to be partnering with Family Building Blocks by hosting the return of Uncorked at our LIVE certified hilltop vineyards and winery. This year’s Uncorked is a celebration of the perseverance and hard work performed by Family Building Blocks. It is also a testament to the sustainable and valuable public service that Family Building Blocks provides to our community.

At Bryn Mawr Vineyards, we also focus on sustainability. LIVE certification embodies this focus—sustaining native habitat, watershed quality, and wildlife; applying and following worker health and safety standards, and good neighbor policies; and creating a healthy, vibrant community that actively works to improve the quality of the natural environment in which we live and work.

The concept of sustainability is equally applicable to the premise of Uncorked; creating sustainable families through the work of Family Building Blocks, which in turn creates sustainable communities that contribute to a sustainable Earth.
