Family Justice Center Alliance Interns
Alliance Intern and Volunteer Appreciation
This year, we have had the pleasure of hosting 33 interns from the local area as well as from China and Taiwan. Our highly-gifted, highly-motivated, and highly-energized interns are students at California Western School of Law; Thomas Jefferson School of Law; San Diego State University; University of San Diego; University of California, San Diego; and more! Our interns have helped us with each of our programs: from the FJC Legal Network, by providing court support, helping clients fill out ExParte petitions, and conducting intake to working on the macro-level by helping plan the annual International FJC Conference and Statewide California Family Justice Initiative Conference, research, and create new products and tools. With over 7500 hours of donated time the Alliance has saved over $175,000.00 (see value of volunteer time here)! Thank you to all of our interns who have shared our passion and commitment to end family violence.
