Dear Parents and Community Members, I am pleased to share our annual report card issued by the Oregon Department of Education. This is the third year in which overall school ratings have been suspended, pending finalization of Oregon's plan to implement the federal Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA). This year's report card does include performance indicators for achievement, growth, and graduation rates. At Lakeridge High School, we are committed to sustaining our tradition of educational excellence and dedicated to offering our students a rigorous course of study. This year we will be focusing on implementation of Common Core State Standards,

and ensuring that all of our students are offered a program that meets their academic, artistic, and athletic needs. The support of our parents and community is instrumental to our students’ success, and we value that partnership. I extend the invitation and challenge which I have shared with every teacher and staff member. Let us work cooperatively in the following fashion: Jointly Supportive, Collectively Committed and Mutually Accountable. Thank you, Principal
