Market Action Index

The market has been cooling over time and prices plateaued for a while. Despite the consistent decrease in MAI, we're in the Seller's zone. Watch for changes in MAI. Dear Parents and Community Members, I am pleased to share our annual report card issued by the Oregon Department of Education. The report card continues to evolve now that we have two years of Smarter Balanced assessment data and new federal legislation around school accountability. This year's report card does not include overall school ratings but does include performance indicators for achievement. At Westridge, we believe in preparing our students with 21st century knowledge and skills. Our classrooms are equipped with a projector, document camera, Apple TV, and a Smart board. The student to technology ratio is 2:1. This year,

students will have access to 136 iPads, 32 PC laptops, 32 PC desktops, and 200 Chromebooks. To extend our students’ learning experiences we provide several enrichment opportunities. We offer Chess Club, 2 levels of Spanish classes, 1 level of Chinese class, Newspaper Club, and Mad Science classes. Thanks to involved parents we enjoy monthly Art Literacy projects. We value the contributions from our parents and would invite parents to partner with us. Thank you, Principal | Kari Montgomery
