Federation Of African Medical Students' Associations

Established in 1968, FAMSA is a project oriented body of African Medical Students who seek to be actively involved in tackling the peculiar problems of the African continent, especially as it regards health, and directed at improving the quality of life of Africans, advocacy and inspiring Africans to take their future into their own hands, the future of their health and development. It is recognised by African Union as the official mouthpiece for the medical students in Africa
