I created my own typeface based on the theme of decay using an online program called FontStruct. It is inspired by mouldy fruit and in particular mouldy strawberries, of which I cut out to the letters of the alphabet. Experimenting with how they would decay over time I left them on a piece of paper. The marks they left were later used for my design.
