CONCEPT DESCRIPTION
The Fashion School is in Puerto de Tierra which located in the gate to get into the Old San Juan and the local community. San Juan has a very large potential factory of fashion which provide a good opportunity for the school to survive. The main concept is to activate the community and engage the community and tourists, artists to provide a place for them to communicate. The school can also provide the fashion show place which could rent to others in order to obtain the money to benefit the community. The big open space on the ground floor also provide a space for community to hold the event. The school for Fashion and Design concorporate a possible event venue and community engagement via salvaged and reused fashion garments and youth training. There are three buildings very close to our site which provide the places for the community to live when the big nature disaster happened. The fashion school will become the command center to deal with the emergency.

CONCEPT
The SITE is located at the junction of the old city and the modern rail transit. Therefore, we want to extend the original relationship between streets and lanes in the old city and make the project more modern. We chose the form of a commercial street with atrium as a space node on three sides. Use curved building facades to guide the streamline so that visitors can walk as far as walking through the individual volume. In view of the fact that there are no large squares or parks around the site, we hope that there will be a better capacity for gathering crowds. Therefore, water features, green spaces and sky gardens are designed so that they can also bring vitality to the area around.

CONCEPT Based on the psychological needs of the elderly, this design explores the relationship between psychological needs and spatial needs. Design for the psychological characteristics of the elderly in China. China’s elderly love lively, like to gather. Combined with the older generation of living environment, court and Li Fang is more common in the design of the building blocks which has a larger enclosure of indoor activities space, and use ribbon form in the living space. The elaborate design of outdoor activity space is intended to attract older people to get closer to nature and comfort their hearts. A wide range of communication spaces are intended to eliminate the sense of loneliness of the elderly. Interior space is also important to meet the inner needs of the elderly. In the design, we use changing space and streamlined line design to avoid the tedium of space. And the main theme of warm colors are also intended to create a sense of warmth and create a home feeling.
