amously known as the diamond hub of India, Surat has emerged as a major contributor to the textile industry. Having its roots entrenched in the textile industry since the early 17th century, the city (once renowned for silk weaving) is now responsible for over 70% of man-made textilemanufacturing in India, with polyester, lace and synthetic fabrics being the highest in production.

What started as a small traditional family business is now a mega empire. Ajmera Group is being led on the forefront by Mr. Ajay Ajmera (CEO and Founder) and his brother – Mr. Vijay Ajmera (MD and Founder) - as the two pillars of the core management team.

Hailing from a provincial city (Sikar) from ‘The Land of Kings’- Rajasthan, a young man in his early twenties decided to make a name in the game. Mr. Ajmera laid the foundation of his very first brainchild i.e., Ajmera Fashion at Surat in 1992. He set his foot in the industry with the motive to carve his way out to the ‘Maya Nagri - Mumbai’ and make a significant mark in Bollywood. Ironically, he landed in Surat and began his career expedition as an Agent in the Textile Industry to recognize the pulse of this diverse market that makes this huge engine tick. With time, he gets himself enlightened with the ins and outs of the respective industry while analysing the shortfalls of this industry to chisel out his own place. Mr. Ajmera accredits his success to the blessings of his parents and elder, which he considers equivalent to god’s benediction. Though being a conventional Marwari family business, Ajmera Fashion is offering trendy textiles to the modern

INTRODUCTION. Shiv Nadar is an Indian IT pioneer who founded HCL in 1976. He is the 3rd richest person in India, as per Forbes. He chairs HCL tech a $9.9 billion worldwide organization with more than 153,000 professionals operating from 50 countries, which is the 3rd IT service provider company in India. He is also the chief strategy officer of HCL Tech. Under Shiv’s guidance, HCL has grown so much and, continued to ride the waves of the changing IT landscape for over 40 Years. Shiv is also a Padma Bhushan holder, which he has been awarded in 2008. His Real-time Net worth is $24B. Shiv’s Nickname is Magus called by his friend. In the mid-90s, he started focusing on the education system in India through Shiv Foundation. Currently, the company has more than 150,000 employees worldwide.

Shiv has away valued the education right. Once he said, “Education is and will be the most powerful tool for individuals and social change, and we must do all that it takes to facilitate it.” In 1996, Shiv made decisions to give back to his community. With nearly 1million in share, he established the college called SSN College of Engineering in Chennai in memory of the late father, Sivasubramnaiya Nadar. Shiv Nadar collaborated with many foreign universities with an emphasis on research. He has also instituted a school in UP called Vidyangayan School, providing a free scholarship to 200 students all across the districts. Awards and Recognition. In 2008, Shiv was awarded a Padma Bhushan for his contribution to the IT sector. In 2007, He received an Honorary doctorate degree as an award, given by Midrash University. He was also recognized as Entrepreneur of the year in the same year. In 2006, he got an honorary fellowship from the All-India Management Association.

In July 2020, he stepped down as chairman of HCL Tech, hand over the position to his daughter, Roshni Nadar Malhotra. Early Life and Education. Shiv Nadar was born in 1945 in Moolaiozhi Village (around 10Km from Tiruchendur in Thoothukudi district, Tamil Nadu, India) His father’s name was Sivasubramaniya Nadar and his mother’s Vamasundari Devi. His sister’s name is SP Adithanar, who founded a newspaper called Dina Thanthi. His schooling finished from Town Higher Secondary School, Kumbakonam. Also, he went to Elango Corporation Higher Secondary School, Madurai. Later he joined the St. Joseph Boys Higher Secondary School, Trichy, and finished the high schooling journey. Shiv got a pre-university degree in the American college, Madurai. After getting an Electrical and Electronic degree from PSG College of Technology, Coimbatore, he began his career at Walchand Group’s College of Engineering, Pune.

Shiv recognized 48th heroes of Philanthropy in 2011, counted by Forbes. In 2017, India Today Magazine ranked him 16th most influential people In India. Shiv Nadar has a very calm nature that rubs off many employees and people working under him. He has created a very rich culture in the company, he always encourages employees to do their best work, top performers were rewarded with perks like cars and paid holidays as well.

Shiv made a partnership with his colleagues and friends, these partners were Ajai Chowdhury (Ex-Chairman, HCL), Arjun Malhotra (CEO and Chairman, Headstrong), Subhash Arora, Yogesh Vaidya, S. Recently, Tata has opened their official booking for the all-new Safari of its Feb 22 launch. In terms of Safari Variants, the car will be offered publicly in six trims: XE, XM, XT, XT+, XZ, and XZ+. The safari seating capacity is 6- and 7. The six-seat variety safari will have the option of driver seats in the top-spec version. This harrier-based three-row SUV car is powered by the same 2.0 L diesel engine that produces 170Ps and 350Nm. It has a choice of 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. But the automatic could be limited to the top-spec variant at launch. It has also an expectation that Tata is going to offer a 1.5 L turbo-petrol unit and an AWD at the later date. As far as Safari Features are concerned, The Tata Safari is coming with 8.8-inch touchscreen infotainment, iRA Connected car tech, a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and a 6-way powered driver seat. Moreover, it has cruise control, mood lighting, auto AC with 2nd and 3rd-row vents, tire pressure monitor, and leatherette upholstery for the dual-tone cabin. Expected 9th March 2021. Estimated Price 1.50-2.00 Crore Recently, Tata Motors-owned Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) made an announcement to launch Jaguar I-Pace in India on 9th March. For your information, this car will be the first electronic model. JLR has already started taking orders for the car in the country. You can book from the official website. JLR I-Pace is equipped with a 90 kWh lithium-ion battery and dual electric motors, that can produce 294 kW and 696Nm of peak torque. The 2.2-tonne electric SUV is able to do the 0-100kph sprint in 4.8sec, and go on to hit a top speed of 200kph as per the official website. While there is no ARAI-certified range yet, the car has a 470km WLTP-rated range on a single charge. JLR is going to offer their customer’s 5-year service package and 5 years of roadside assistance. Moreover, the car will come with 8 years or 1,60,000km battery warranty. JLR will introduce I-Pace electric SUV in 3 variants – S, SE, and top-spec HSE. It will be well-structured and come with Led Headlamps and tail-light, a full-length fixed glass roof, dual touchscreen infotainment system, and 19-inch diamond alloy wheels. Besides, It will have features to support Android Auto support and Apple CarPlay.

MAHINDRA eKUV 100

Expected Launch – In March 2021. Estimate Price – Rs 8.00-9.00 Lakh Mahindra ekUV100 is about to knock India Market‘s Door, which will look pretty similar to the ongoing gasoline-powered unit. However, few changes will be made to differentiate it as an EV. In terms of design, still will be seen the Sharp LED DRLs upfront here. The eKUV100 only comes up with a new lower front bumper in comparison with the KUV100. Black side skirts are also a sweet addition. The front grille will also draw great inspiration from other EVs in the market. Overall, the car interior will be the same. Expected Launch – March 2021 (Tentative) Estimate Price – Rs 33.00-44.00 Lakh Audi Q3’s all-new generation is expected to launch this march; the next-generation Q3 was last showcased at the Paris Motor Show in 2018. It was predicted to be introduced in the first quarter of 2020. Due to the pandemic, the launch date was postponed. The New generation Q3 is based on the VW’s MQB platform, which makes it 96mm longer and 18mm wider (lightly bigger) than the first generation. Edgier design, in-line with the company’s great design philosophy, make its appearance more sculpted as compare with the previous model.
