Original, inspired freelance illustrator/fine artist interested in all things community, theatre, music, arts, dance and fascinated with the process of illuminating prose and print in an enchanting way that inspires the viewers own fertile imagination. Bohemian by blood, mainstream, studious & versatile by adoption; I take my inspiration from my family, my children, my hard earned but much valued circle of friends spanning the UK and over twenty years playing live music. I am currently exploring figurative & fantasy/mythological work grounded in historical events/legend being hugely influenced by the work of the Golden Age illustrators such as Arthur Rackham, John Bauer, Charles Robinson and other popular artists ranging from renaissance giants like Michaelangelo & Da Vinci to children's illustrators such as Beatrix Potter, E.H.Shephard and Sir Quentin Blake.
