Dog-Friendly Spots in Fargo
Are you visiting Fargo with your dog? We want your canine friends to experience all the fun. There are some great spaces to take your dog in Fargo; check out our favorite spots.
TREATS
If you are traveling with your pet and would like some treats as a souvenir, try Natural Pet Center for all-natural food and treats or Three Dog Bakery, which has special treats for a man's best friend. Local shops like Beans Coffee and the Moorhead Dairy Queen also provide a quick treat if you're passing through.
PATIOS
There's a long list of local restaurants with dogfriendly patios, but a few of our favorites are Junkyard Brewing; this brewery has a rotating list of experimental beers and a giant patio to enjoy an afternoon in the sun. Brew Bird is another great spot, with a full menu of fried chicken (which happens to all be gluten-free); their patio is an excellent spot for lunch in the summer. JL Beers not only has one of the greatest menus of burgers in the metro area, but their patio in Downtown Fargo is pet-friendly. Last but not least, in our can't-miss list of patios, Wild Terra Cider is a vibey cidery with a great patio to enjoy something from a food truck and a tasty cider.
INDOOR
On bad weather days, there are some great spaces to bring your dog to get their energy out or enjoy an afternoon with you. Rainy Days Dog Park is an indoor park with day passes to bring your pup in, run around, and play with other dogs. Brewhalla is a shopping, beer, and entertainment center. It is not only open for your animals; there is also a Bark'N Biscuits shop inside to grab a goodie for your pet. If you're out and about looking for fun activities with your dog, the Fargo Air Museum is pet-friendly and chock-full of historic aircraft. The FargoMoorhead Visitors Center is also dog-friendly, so bring them inside while you grab your visitor materials or take a photo with the Woodchipper.
