Mr Smith says SmartSola has helped make the best use of home-produced solar energy by intelligently controlling our store run times prioritising up to 10 stores, then over-cooling by .2o C utilising the potatoes to hold the excess energy.

The Preparator has been designed from carefully listening to farmers who are wanting to perfect their establishment of maize, OSR and sugar beet. The three independent rows of cultivation discs that are hydraulically adjusted whilst working in with our LD tine and point creates the perfectly cultivated row.

MAXIMIZER PRO Models across Knight Farm Machinery’s mounted, trailed and self-propelled sprayer ranges are available with MAXImizer PRO fluid control, which enables the sprayer’s low volume plumbing to be primed before spraying begins, for full circulation, automatic agitation and instant nozzle response/switching. PUDAMA

The Kverneland Onyx cuts the roots of the weeds as closely to the plants as possible without damaging the crops by ensuring a straight line within the row. It can be quickly adjusted for many different crops and row widths due to the frame design, and the working width can be extended to meet the requirements of various field and farm sizes.

With PUDAMA, a precise amount of fertiliser is deposited where each seed roots can reach it. Synchronised with the seed application, a cloud of fertiliser is placed by an air stream below and to the side of the seed during the seeding process. PUDAMA increases efficiency in the use of mineral starter fertiliser in maize, maintaining 100% yield whilst saving at least 25% starter fertiliser.

FARMING SIMULATOR LEAGUE, HALL 11 Internationally acclaimed gaming series Farming Simulator has chosen leading machinery event LAMMA 2024 as the first ever UK venue for the 5th tournament within its esports Farming Simulator League.

The Farming Simulator League event will take place across both days of the show, with teams of three players each competing live from the League Theatre within the NEC, aiming to survive multiple knock-out rounds to reach the final.

During the tournament, players earn points by manoeuvring tractors and other equipment over hilly terrain to deliver bales into their team’s barn, as well as by harvesting grain from a field using combines, tractors and trailers. Various other game elements and challenges impact strategies over the 10 minutes of game play, and the team with most points at the end wins.

Visitors to LAMMA will be able to watch the competition live and try the game for themselves on the Farming Simulator stand 11.290.
