Located in a beautiful early Georgian town house, with an equally stunning hidden, walled garden, the Museum of Farnham is a joyous place to visit for people of all ages and interests. At the museum this autumn you will find an eclectic programme of events kicking off with a Heritage Open Day in September. At half term we will host our usual fun-filled craft sessions and we have two ‘Anytime Artisan market days in October and November. Built by a wealthy hop-grower in 1718, this Grade 1 listed building is well worth a visit for those who appreciate and admire historic buildings. The Museum of Farnham has been part of the Farnham Maltings since 2012. Together we work to provide engaging, enjoyable and imaginative events and exhibitions to reach as many people as possible. Exhibition: until 16 December 2022 Over the past year, the museum has been working with the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Organisation, Hale History Group and Polish School of Surrey to co–curate a pop–up exhibition about each community’s stories. This exciting project allows visitors to learn about the origins of each community, the organisations specific purposes and provide insight into the development of local areas. facebook.com/MuseumofFarnham
