thread... a festival of textiles Sat 19 September · 9am – 5pm
catalogue of exhibitors
welcome Hello, sewists and fabric lovers! We are delighted to welcome you back to the maltings for our eighth annual thread festival. 2020 has been a strange year, but we have been greatly encouraged by the opportunity it has given to re-connect with crafting and making during lockdown. We know that you are excited to replenish your supplies as a visitor of thread and our exhibitors are ready to welcome you. This year’s thread is smaller, but still perfectly formed, with an exciting collection of your favourite fabrics shops, stitching vendors, yarn purveyors and haberdashers, alongside some wonderful makers! Our reduced exhibitor’s marketplace means we have been able to spread our stallholders out in line with government guidelines through the building. A one-way system will be in operation as you move around the building. Face coverings are required unless you hold an exemption. Please do make use of the hand sanitising stations located in every room. We hope you have a fantastic day!
