unravel... a festival of yarn show guide & programme Fri 11, Sat 12 & Sun 13 February 2022 a celebration of all things yarn making, from knitting and crochet to spinning and weaving
welcome Friends and yarn lovers! We are excited to welcome you back to the Maltings for unravel... a festival of yarn. This year unravel has returned in full force while continuing the new hybrid tradition that we began last year combining both in-person and online activities. You’ll find over 70 exhibitors in our curated marketplace as well as workshops taking place in the building, along with talks, seated yoga, and social events. Plus, you won’t want to miss our beautiful exhibition of the late knitwear designer Patricia Roberts’ designs. If you’re spending the day in Farnham be sure to pop over to The Farnham Pottery to see the full exhibition and retrospective of her work. Garthenor Organic have returned as the sponsor of our talks series and we are grateful for their continued support of the festival. This year we’re welcoming diversity and inclusivity advocate and passionate knitter, Cecilia Nelson-Hurt, from the USA as our keynote speaker. However you celebrate yarn, we hope you enjoy this year’s unravel festival as much as we’ve enjoyed putting it together. Happy stitching! Allison, Jo & Caroline The Craft Team at Farnham Maltings
