Case Study 01:
Website Museum Wayang College Assignment ( Solo Project) Duration
: 3 Months ( September - November 2019)
Tools
: Illustrator & XD
Roles
: Research, UI & UX
Research During my observation on Old City, Jakarta. I found that the Museum Wayang is less popular compared to the other museum in that area. When im inside the building, there were less visitors in that place. It’s also didn’t have it’s own online information media to promoting their site & event. Even though, the use of online media could increase awareness and attention to those
Solution Based on that findings, I decided to design a website that would acquiant and attract visitors to visit Museum Wayang. The website should be easy to use by the user. With the presence of this website, I hope more people will recognize and visit the museum.

Bookling App College Assignment ( Group Project (4 Person)) Duration
: 3 Months ( September - November 2021)
Tools
: Illustrator, Miro, & Figma
Roles
: Research, UI & UX
Overview Bookling is an app to let people donate their books to the institution or school where it needed. The name it self came from “buku” (book) and “keliling” (mobile). The assignment came from my VCD 5 class, where we were tasked to create a service design app. This app aims to increase the index of reading literacy and reading interest in Indonesia. Besides, the app is also offer
it’s own moving library, where people could donate or lend a book from or
to the mobile library.

Background & Research Background 1. According to UNESCO, index of reading interest in Indonesia is only 0,001%. As an illustration, every 1000 person there’s only one that had interest in it 2. The literacy problem still continues because the lack of library quantity and good quality reading source (Nihaya & Revina, 2020) 3. According to The National Library, from 7064 library in Indonesia there’s only 6% library needs completed and it’s only consentrated in Java island 4. According to Carousell Indonesia survey, book is at the 3rd place in the ten unused things that piled up at home
Research Data gathering is a step to collect information about the user. On this process, we were using interview (1 people(the target)) and questionnaire (100 peoples via Gform). Here’s what we found from the research: 1. Most of the respondents are ranging from 15-19 years old, the rest are from 20-24 years old 2. Most of the unused books is entertainment books 3. Most of them are keeping their books 4. They want to donate their books if there’s a platform to let them to do it or if there’s a chance for them 5. The biggest problem is there’s no platform to guide them to donate their books 6. They dont know where’s to send and who’s will be their receivers

Frame Your Design Challenge 1. Problem that you’re trying to solve
: - The low index of reading literacy in Indonesia - The unused and piled up books - The lack of good quality reading sources - Platform to let people donate their books
2. Impact
: - Reducing the number of unused books - Rising the number of reading interest in Indonesia
3. Possible Solution
: - App that could manage the donors and the receivers of the books - A mobile library that could give a service to the people who needed it
4. Constraint
: - The data of literacy interest regions - The type of needed books - The internet coverage - The technology that people have in that region
5. Tweak Of The Original Solution
: How to find the donors that want to fill the applicant needs?
Create Insight Statements 1. We want to make an app to let people donate their books to the school or institution where it needed 2. People also could lend the books from our mobile library through the apps 3. The apps also could track the location of the mobile libraries

User Journey The function is to knowing the user activities from searching until using the apps. This user journey contains customer activities, customer goals, touchpoints, experiences, business goals, KPI’s, and responsibles. Business goals is what we will gonna do by looking what users doing, KPI’s is index of succession, and responsibles is what department will be facing the user.

System Map We are using the system map to illustrate how the user gonna interact with our app and it’s ecosystem. We separating the stakeholders into five, The Donors, The Receivers, The Lenders, The Couriers, and The Developers

Usablity Testing After the prototype is completed. We went to test the apps to get insight from our user. Each of us test this application with two users, so the total number of the combined users is eight. The test is done in zoom and some of my team are doing live test with the users. After the test is finished, we asked their feedback about the apps and we were giving a SUS (System Usability Scale) and UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire) questionnaires to them. Here’s what we found from the usability testing: 1. They still confused in the mobile library tracking page 2. They need a menu or features to let people lend the books without a phone 3. Some of the users thought that the button is inconsistent
The conclution We realize that our design is still far from perfect. But from this study, we get much knowledge about how to creating a service design app and how to handle the doubt and the problem, and finding the solutions. We also make this design as a reflection for the improvement of our skill.
