Dear students, parents, teachers and friends it is a great pleasure to express the happiness that I feel in my heart. As this year comes to an end we will take many memories with us of one more year’s journey. Our students do not need an award or a medal just to prove that they have something special within them. All of them are blessed with talents and are worth being praised. You have come a long way in your journey indeed. Good or bad, long or short, you will always remember this school year. Now that you have passed the challenges of the current grade, it’s time for you to move on to a bigger struggle — next grade. That would be a high school life for our graduates! The lessons you have learned in class will surely help you get through that next stage, but you also need to remember that all those formulas, poems—everything you have memorized—they are not the only things that will help you through.
You also need to retain the things you have learned other than the academic stuff. Of course, we solve problems by ourselves, answer our tests individually, and go through our everyday lives on our own, but one cannot deny how important the people around us are. Again, our parents, friends, teachers and administrators, even the bus driver - all of them play a vital role in helping you be where you are now. The thing you all need to remember is to learn to appreciate others. Remember that you cannot stand on your own. I guess that means the biggest thing you learned is to lean and rely on others when needed. There’s another, more important, side to this idea though, and it’s the one piece of advice I’d like to give you as you get ready to close the last page of this school year: Make sure you’re around when other people need someone to lean or rely on. Last but not least, I would like to sincerely congratulate our graduates, class of 2016! You did it!
