Introduction to Exercise Introduction to exercise

"It's no secret, if you're serious about burning fat then the best way to lose this fat is through exercise."

Time and time again I come across people that ask me whether or not the can lose fat through other means than just exercising, and don't get me wrong you CAN lose a pounds through a healthy balanced diet, but if you think just changing your diet round a little will get you the best results, you're mistaken. The can be said for exercising however, if your consuming more calories than your burning you won't see the results you're looking for. In-fact to achieve the best possible results you must combine both a healthy diet AND exercise.

'But I don't wanna workout every single day!!' Is naturally the next statment that comes out of their mouth.' Well the good news is you don't need to workout every single day, and not only do you not have to exercise every day, you don't have to workout for a ridiculous amount of time either. To start with were going to be using the '3 x 45 Method'. This basically means were going to be working out 3 times a week for 45 minutes. The '3 x 45 Method' is by far the simplest most effective method to start burning fat. Not only does it work, but it also means you won't be slogging it out on a treadmill for 3 hours a day. (By the way along with the fact its EXTREMELY boring, 3 hours on a treadmill won't give you the results your looking for either). Plan of action!!

Theres no point in having a plan if your not actually going to follow through with it. The type of plan I mean is a workout session plan. This plan will be simply consist of a warm up, the exercises you will be performing and how you will be performing them, with a cool down at the end aswell. Now, keep in mind a workout session plan can be as simple or as detailed as you want it to be. Certain sessions will require more detail than just a couple of jotted down notes for example, but to start with the '3 x 45 Method' will only require a few bits of information.

Exercising can be so boring

Yeah you read that right. Exercise can be extremely boring, if you let it. Too many times I have stood in the gym and noticed new member rushing to the upper floor to where the cardio equipment is, you know, your treadmills and exercise bikes. I'll see this new person in the gym everyday for about 2 weeks, and then after this time i'll never see them again. Why? Because their visit to the gym consisted of;

1. Walking through the gym doors 2. Getting changed (if they were not already) 3. Walking up to the cardio floor 4. Spending 90 minutes on a treadmill watching their favorite soap on the gym T.Vs Now if that's not boring I don't know what is. I don't like the way gyms do things, and that's why I try to get as many people as I can to understand what works and what doesn't, even those people who will never ever spend a penny on any private sessions. There are 2 reasons why people will go to the gym for a few weeks and never go back. The first is because they don't no what there doing. They think by running on a treadmill for 90 minutes is going to get them results. The second reason is because they are not enjoying their sessions! Why's that? You guess it! Because their running on a treadmill for 90 minutes!!

Now not everyone comes to the gym and spends long periods of time on the treadmill, but those who go to the gym for about 2 maybe 3 weeks and then all of a sudden stop turning up, normally do so because of those two reasons. It all comes down to the fact that they don't know what they have to do to lose fat, they know they need to exercise, but they don't know how to go about it! It's not their fault, how are they supposed know!!! We weren't born with this information embedded in our heads! That's why I believe in educating people, an through educating people they will no doubt start seeing results.
