After writing a research thesis on the advantages of providing Family Based Care based on the SOS Children's Villages, the Umoja Integrated Orphanage and Vocational School was the resultant design project. Based in Jericho, Nairobi the project was designed aiming towards Kenya Vision 2030, under the social pillar. This report was my final submission for BAR 614 in 2016 for the University of Nairobi, Bachelor of Architecture program. It demonstrates the results of five months work.
